I’m Emily, and I’m a content marketer, editorial strategist and investigative journalist.
All my marketing decisions revolve around three things: high-quality writing; creative and investigative storytelling; and intelligently-used data.
Right now I manage content at BlueJeans, finding and telling stories about how video is transforming the way people live and work. Before that, I did content marketing for ZOZI Advance and owned curation of the consumer ZOZI Journal, which featured longform personal narratives, niche travel guides, and exploration how-to’s—all encouraging people to “get out there” and experience the world.
I’m particularly smitten with the “experiences” realm—travel, tourism, hospitality, food and lifestyle—because I see huge value in encouraging others to build new experiences and share them with the world.
But I’ve reported and written on a range of technical topics: politics in the NC General Assembly, science and medicine at UNC Hospitals, and SaaS knowledge bases for ZOZI Advance and BlueJeans Network.
